Regence & MultiCare Reach Agreement - 6/1/2026
We are pleased to share that MultiCare and Regence BlueShield have reached a new agreement. As a result, Pioneer Family Practice will remain in-network with Regence, and Regence members may continue scheduling appointments and receiving care as usual.

Premera Insurance Updates
MultiCare and Premera Blue Cross are currently negotiating a new agreement. To help ensure patients continue to have access to in-network care while negotiations continue, both parties have agreed to extend the current contract through June 30, 2026.
At this time, there are no changes to your coverage, and patients with Premera insurance may continue scheduling appointments and receiving care as usual.
If a new agreement is not reached, MultiCare providers, including Pioneer Family Practice, could become out of network for certain Premera commercial health plans beginning July 1, 2026. However, negotiations are ongoing, and we remain hopeful that an agreement will be reached.
Your Primary Care Is Protected
Under Washington state law, patients may continue seeing their MultiCare primary care provider at in-network rates for up to 60 days after receiving notice of a contract termination. Additional Continuity of Care protections may also be available for patients receiving ongoing treatment for certain medical conditions.
